The stock decides how your rifle fits your shoulder and cheek. A different stock can change the length of pull, the height of your eye above the bore, the grip angle and the weight of the rifle. On the Scorpion Evo 3 and Bren 2 a folding stock also makes the gun shorter for transport. You can choose original CZ stocks for the CZ 457, CZ 600, Scorpion Evo 3 and Bren 2, plus butt pads and stock adapters from CZ, Artipel, Magpul and Ascalon Arms.
Stocks for your model
A stock is made for one action, so choose by your rifle:
Stocks for the CZ 457
CZ makes the CZ 457 in many versions, and each version has its own stock. You can buy these stocks as original CZ replacement parts. This lets you change the look and feel of your rifle without buying a new one. You can choose the American, AT-ONE, Ergo, Jaguar, LRP, Lux, MDT, MTR, Premium, Range, Royal, Scout, Synthetic, Synthetic Veil, Thumbhole and Varmint stocks.
Two of them stand out for fit. The AT-ONE has an adjustable cheek piece and butt pad. The Ergo has a removable cheek rest. The other stocks are fixed.
The AT-ONE is the most adjustable option. You set the cheek piece height so your eye lines up with the scope, and the butt pad position so the length of pull fits your arm. This makes it a good choice if several people shoot the same rifle.
Stocks for the CZ 600
For the CZ 600 you can get the original CZ Lux stock. The stock depends on the length of the upper receiver, and the receiver length depends on the calibre:
- short: .223 Rem, 7.62x39 and .300 AAC Blackout,
- medium: .308 Win, 6 mm Creedmoor, 6.5 mm Creedmoor, 6.5 PRC and .243 Win,
- long: .30-06 Springfield, .300 Win Mag and 8x57 IS.
Check your calibre before you order.
Stocks for the Scorpion Evo 3
For the Scorpion Evo 3 and Evo 3+ you can choose original CZ folding stocks from duralumin and polymer, with a total length of 27.5 cm:
- a folding stock without a magnet,
- a magnetic folding stock, black or FDE, where a magnet keeps the stock folded,
- a magnetic folding stock with a QD sling interface. It is made for the Evo 3+, because its joint is slightly bevelled to match the Evo 3+ shape. It also fits the classic Evo.
If you prefer an AR-15 stock, the Ascalon Arms adapter lets you fit one. It is made of duralumin with a focus on stiffness and minimum play. The stock tube is fixed with two set screws, and a 1.5 mm Allen key is included. A cut-out at the bottom gives you access to the disassembly button, so you can remove the stock together with the tube. You can also choose the Magpul Zhukov folding stock on a Reptilia adapter. It folds to the side and adjusts in length.
Stocks for the CZ Bren 2
For the Bren 2 you can get original CZ folding and collapsible stocks. Both fit models in 5.56x45 and 7.62x39. One of them is the BR stock. To fit one, remove the lower receiver, release the factory stock adapter by sliding it down after you release the lever, then slide the new stock in while you push the buffer. It locks in place when it is fully in.
Butt pads
A butt pad changes the length of pull and absorbs recoil. For the CZ 457 and CZ 600 you can choose:
- the original CZ rubber butt pad, 0.6 inch thick,
- the extended leather butt pad from Artipel, made in Italy.
The CZ rubber pad is a semi-finished part. It comes with extra material because stocks have small tolerances, so you trim the pad to the exact shape of your stock. For the Artipel leather pad, let it dry at room temperature away from heating if it gets wet. You can remove scratches with warm wax, but do not use silicone based cleaners.

Frequently asked questions
Can I change the stock on my CZ rifle at home?
Yes. On the CZ 457 and CZ 600 you undo the action screws, lift the barrelled action out of the old stock and put it into the new one. On the Bren 2 and Scorpion Evo 3 the stock attaches at the back of the receiver and needs no gunsmith.
Which stock gives me the most adjustment on my CZ rifle?
On the CZ 457, the AT-ONE stock. You can adjust both the cheek piece and the butt pad. On the Scorpion Evo 3, an AR-15 stock on the Ascalon Arms adapter or the Magpul Zhukov lets you adjust the length.
Will a new CZ butt pad fit my stock straight away?
No, the original CZ rubber butt pad needs trimming. It comes with extra material because stocks have small tolerances. Trim the pad to the exact shape of your stock.
