Footprint adapters

When you change your red dot, the new one may have a different footprint than your plate or mount. A footprint adapter saves you buying a new plate. It sits between the plate and the red dot and converts one footprint to another. Screws are included. You can choose adapters from Holosun, Vector Optics, Olight and Toni System.

Which adapter you need

• From Trijicon RMR to Holosun K-series, Holosun 509T or Aimpoint Acro
• From Trijicon RMR to Shield RMSc and K-series
• From Shield RMSc to Holosun K-series, for a pistol with a direct fit slide cut
• From Toni System type A mounts to Aimpoint Acro, only for Toni System plates and mounts type A

Frequently asked questions

Do I need a new plate when I change my red dot?

Not always. If the new red dot has a different footprint, an adapter can convert your plate or mount to it. Check that an adapter exists for your two footprints.

Are screws included with a footprint adapter?

Yes. With the Shield RMSc to K-series adapter you may need to make the original screws slightly shorter.
