CZ TS 2 Orange, CZ Shadow 2 Target front sight with fiber optic | 6.25 x 1.0 mm

Front sights

(26 products)

The front sight is the part you focus on when you aim with iron sights. A brighter or better shaped front sight helps you find it faster and see it sharper. Here you find single front sights for CZ pistols and rifles, front sight pins, a front sight filler and spare fiber optic rods. You can choose front sights from CZ, Zendl, LPA, Night Fision and Angry Bear.

How the front sight is fixed

CZ pistols fix the front sight in one of two ways, and the front sight must match:

  • Pin: most steel frame CZ pistols, such as the CZ 75, Shadow 2, TS 2 and SP-01, hold the front sight in the dovetail with a pin. The CZ fiber optic front sights in 1.0 mm or 1.5 mm are made for these models.
  • Screw: the P-07, P-09 and P-10 hold the front sight with a screw. The CZ front sight with a fixing screw fits them, and it also fits the pin models, because the dimensions are the same.

If you lose the pin, the Eemann Tech front sight pin replaces it. To fit a new front sight on a pin model you need a 2 mm drill, see Tools.

Height

CZ front sights come in heights from 5.25 mm to 8.5 mm. A higher front sight moves the point of impact down, a lower one moves it up. The factory heights are:

  • 5.5 mm: CZ 75, CZ 75 SP-01 Shadow, CZ 85, CZ 97, CZ 75 Compact, P-10C and P-10S,
  • 5.75 mm: P-07, P-09, P-10F,
  • 6.0 mm: CZ 75 Tactical Sports Orange,
  • 6.25 mm: TS 2 Racing Green and Deep Bronze,
  • 7.0 mm: SP-01,
  • 7.5 mm: Shadow 2 and Shadow 2 Compact.

Front sights for the Orange models are usually slightly longer. A standard CZ front sight fits them, but it does not fill the dovetail completely.

Front sights by model

  • Shadow 2: Zendl 7.5 mm front sights, plain or with 1.0 mm or 1.5 mm fiber optic. The Shadow 2 Orange has its own 7.5 mm front sights from CZ and Zendl.
  • CZ 75B, P-01, CZ 75 Compact, CZ 85 and CZ 97: Zendl 5.5 mm front sights, plain or with fiber optic.
  • P-07, P-09 and P-10: Zendl 5.75 mm front sights with fiber optic and a Night Fision front sight with tritium.
  • TS 2 Orange and Shadow 2 Target: the CZ 6.25 mm front sight with 1.0 mm fiber optic.
  • Kadet: CZ and Zendl 7.5 mm front sights.
  • CZ 455 and CZ 457: LPA adjustable front sight ramps in Ergal, with a 1.5 mm fiber optic or a wide blade, and the CZ fiber optic front sight assembly.

Fiber optic, tritium and spare rods

A fiber optic rod collects light and glows, so you pick up the front sight fast in daylight. A 1.5 mm rod is brighter, a 1.0 mm rod gives a finer aiming point. Tritium glows in the dark without charging. Fiber rods can break or fade. LPA spare rods come in 1.0, 1.5 and 2.0 mm, in red, green or yellow, and you trim them to length. Eemann Tech also makes spare rods.

No front sight

If you shoot only with a red dot and remove the front sight, the Angry Bear front sight filler closes the dovetail on CZ models with a front sight pin.

For complete sets and rear sights, see Sights and Rear sights.

Frequently asked questions

Which front sight height do I need for my CZ?

Start with the factory height of your model. If your pistol shoots low, choose a lower front sight. If it shoots high, choose a higher one.

Can I fit a screw-fixed front sight on my CZ with a pin?

Yes. The CZ front sight with a fixing screw has the same dimensions and also fits the CZ models that use a pin.

Should I choose a 1.0 mm or 1.5 mm fiber optic for my CZ?

Choose 1.5 mm for a brighter dot and faster pick up. Choose 1.0 mm for a finer aiming point and more precise shots.
