Grip & reload

(209 products)

The parts in this collection change how your CZ sits in your hand and how fast you reload it. Grips and thumb rests give you a firmer hold that is the same every time, frame mounts add weight where it helps you control recoil, and a magwell with the right base pads speeds up your reload. You can choose from original CZ parts and from parts by Toni System, Eemann Tech, Lok, Armanov, KMR, BT and other makers.

Grip

Grips

A different shape, texture or thickness can give you a firmer hold, better control in fast shooting, or simply a better fit for your hand. Heavy brass grips also add weight to the frame. On the polymer frame P-07, P-09 and P-10 there are no side panels to replace, so you add grip tape instead. See Grips.

Thumb rests and slide stops

A thumb rest, also called a gas pedal, gives your support hand thumb a fixed place. Pressing on it helps you hold the muzzle down in fast shooting. On the Shadow 2 and CZ 75 the thumb rest is part of the slide stop. On the TS 2 it can also be a separate part. See Thumb rests and Slide stops.

Frame mounts

A frame mount adds weight to the front of the frame, which keeps the muzzle flatter. Toni System makes frame mounts in aluminium or brass for the Shadow 2, SP-01 Shadow, P-10C and P-10F. See Frame mounts.

Holsters

A good holster holds your pistol safely, keeps the trigger covered and lets you draw the same way every time. It is moulded to the shape of one pistol, so it must match your model exactly. See Holsters.

Reload

Magwells

A magwell is a funnel at the bottom of the grip. It guides the magazine in even when your reload is not exact, and a heavy magwell adds weight to the bottom of the grip. On CZ pistols with a steel frame you need short grips to fit a magwell. See Magwells.

Base pads

A base pad closes the bottom of the magazine. A new one can add rounds, make the magazine heavier so it drops free faster, protect it when it hits the ground, or let it pass through a magwell. If your pistol has a magwell, choose a magwell compatible base pad. See Base pads.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need different grips for a magwell?

Yes, on CZ pistols with a steel frame. Long grips reach to the bottom of the frame, where the magwell sits. Choose short grips, or a set of short grips and a magwell.

What is a gas pedal?

A thumb rest for your support hand thumb. Pressing on it helps you control recoil and gives you the same grip every time.

What does extra weight in the grip or frame do?

More weight in the frame reduces muzzle movement, so you get back on target faster. This is why brass grips, heavy magwells and frame mounts are popular in competition.
