Unique parts are performance parts that change how your CZ handles, not just how it looks. A heavier guide rod keeps the muzzle flatter, an adjustable magazine release fits your hand, a competition disconnector shortens the trigger pre-travel. You can choose parts from Eemann Tech, Toni System, Ascalon Arms, Zendl, Tactical Evo, Strike Industries, Lok, Manul, Position 7, BT and original CZ parts.
Unique parts for your model
Parts for the Scorpion Evo 3, CZ 457 and CZ 600 are described below.
Recoil spring guide rods
A heavier guide rod adds weight under the barrel. This moves the balance forward, reduces muzzle flip and helps you get back on target faster. You can choose:
- Toni System guide rods for the Shadow 2 in brass, steel or Ergal. Brass is the heaviest. Steel adds stiffness and medium weight. Ergal is the lightest and suits shooters who must stay under a division weight limit. The spring is not included.
- Toni System guide rods for the CZ 75 SP-01 and SP-01 Shadow, and steel guide rods for the TS 2, P-10C and P-10F.
- An Eemann Tech guide rod for the Shadow 2 from AISI 316 stainless steel, and a steel guide rod for the P-10F.
On the P-10 the steel rods replace the factory polymer part and add durability.
Magazine releases
The position and size of the magazine release decide how fast you can drop the magazine without shifting your grip.
- Zendl adjustable magazine releases for the CZ 75B, SP-01, SP-01 Shadow, Shadow 2 and TS 2 have 5 positions and three button sizes: 19 mm for smaller hands, 17 mm for normal hands and 15 mm for larger hands.
- Original CZ and Lok Gridlok adjustable buttons for the TS 2 and Shadow 2 have 3 positions. A spare CZ screw for the button is available too.
- For the Shadow 2 Compact you can choose the original CZ button or an oversized Toni System button.
- The CZ aluminium magazine release for the P-10 is more comfortable than the factory part. It does not replace the ambidextrous release.
Disconnectors
Eemann Tech makes disconnectors for the Shadow 2 and SP-01 Shadow: Competition, brass Competition, Ultimate ET and Custom Zero. They reduce trigger pre-travel. The Custom Zero lets you adjust the single action pre-travel close to zero. It is not a drop-in part and needs precise fitting by a gunsmith.
Slide stops
For the CZ 75 SP-01 Shadow you can choose a slide stop from BT or a one-piece steel slide stop from Eemann Tech that copies the factory shape. For the P-10 in 9x19, Ascalon Arms makes the Highshelf extended slide stop with larger levers and the Slingshot slim slide stop without levers. Neither fits the P-10M. See also Slide stops.
Parts for the Scorpion Evo 3
- The Ascalon Arms aluminium trigger housing from 7075-T6 adds rigidity, reduces play and has an enlarged magwell flare. It weighs 190 g instead of 145 g.
- The Ascalon Arms receiver shim removes play between the upper and lower receiver caused by factory tolerances. It does not affect the interchangeability of other parts and is made to work with the original polymer handguard.
- Extended magazine releases from Ascalon Arms, Manul, Toni System and Strike Industries. The Strike Industries release has fins on both sides for ambidextrous use.
- Magazine couplers from CZ and Ascalon Arms join two magazines for faster reloads. They do not fit 10-round magazines.
- The CZ front hand stop for a Picatinny rail, the Strike Industries faux suppressor, which also shields the handguard from heat, and an Eemann Tech display stand.
Rifle parts
-
Mirage band from Tactical Evo for the CZ 457 and CZ 600. It diverts the heat from a hot barrel away from your line of sight, so the image in the scope does not shimmer during long strings. For rifles without a front attachment point, Tactical Evo makes a low profile duralumin mount that clips onto a Weaver or Picatinny rail in seconds.
-
Trigger guard from Tactical Evo for the CZ 457, in duralumin with a black Cerakote finish and a more ergonomic shape.
-
Bore guide from Position 7 for the CZ 457. It guides the cleaning rod straight and keeps solvents away from the trigger.
-
Bolt case from Position 7 for the CZ 457. It protects the bolt during transport and lets you decock it safely, which reduces wear on the firing pin spring.
-
Steel M-Lok weights from Tactical Evo, 170 g and 280 g, sold in pairs. They improve the balance and reduce felt recoil.
-
Muzzle thread cover for the CZ Kadet, an original CZ part for the M9 x 0.75 thread.
Magazine kit
The Eemann Tech kit with an extended 13-coil spring and a thin competition follower fits Mec-Gar CZ 18-round magazine bodies. Combined with extended base pads, it lets you load more rounds. You install it without tools. See Base pads.
Frequently asked questions
Can I install unique parts in my CZ at home?
Yes, most of them. Guide rods, magazine releases and slide stops replace the factory parts, and the Eemann Tech magazine kit installs without tools. Disconnectors are different. A gunsmith should install the Ultimate ET disconnector, and the Custom Zero disconnector needs precise fitting.
Do I need a gunsmith for a new disconnector in my CZ?
Yes. A disconnector is a key part of the trigger mechanism. Eemann Tech recommends professional installation for the Ultimate ET disconnector, and the Custom Zero must be fitted precisely.
Which guide rod material should I choose for my CZ?
Choose brass for the most weight and the flattest muzzle. Choose steel for durability and medium weight. Choose Ergal if you want a light, rigid rod and a fast slide cycle.
Which magazine release button size fits my hand on my CZ?
It depends on your hand. On the Zendl adjustable releases, choose 19 mm for smaller hands, 17 mm for normal hands and 15 mm for larger hands.
